From January 17-19, 2024 Intersolar North America was held at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. Chint Power attracted a lot of visitors to its booth #1917 with its residential, commercial, and utility energy storage and PV solutions.

Total Solution for Utility Power Station

Through the accumulation of market and project experience, Chint Power has crafted a full set of utility power plant total solutions more suitable for the North American market, which not only provides a full set of products and technical support, but also greatly simplifies the installation and operation and maintenance process, reduces the initial investment cost of the system, and makes the customer's experience more comfortable.

The solution includes an inverter, two AC converter boxes for different applications, a Cluster bracket, and a variety of standardized SKIDs; in addition to the current hot-selling 275kW inverter, the solution can also be matched with the newly-released 350kW inverter, and the Chint Power supply team will recommend the most optimal overall solution for the customer based on the actual situation of the project.

It is worth mentioning that the 350kW inverter is designed with 15 channels of MPPT tracking, and the maximum input current of each channel of MPPT reaches 40A, which can flexibly adapt to 210/182/166 modules of various specifications. The excellent temperature design is beneficial to the electronic components, which makes the product's electrical and mechanical performance better, lifetime operation longer, and ensures that the inverter will still have full power and no derating at 45℃, which greatly improves the system's power generation efficiency. In addition, the 350kW inverter adopts the latest intelligent shunt release switch, which enhances the ability to control the risk. Making the customer's experience more comfortable.

Small Scale ground-based and industrial/commercial PV solutions

Chint Power's 480Vac series 25/36/50/60kW inverters are suitable for commercial and industrial rooftop and carport scenarios, while the 600Vac system 100-125kW inverters are suitable for community PV and small-scale ground-mounted power plants. At the same time, to cater to customers' demand for greater power, Chint Power will launch a 600Vac 250kW inverter and design two junction boxes, which can be used in both distributed systems and centralized systems.

Utility Energy Storage System Solution

After considering various factors such as transportation and market environment, Chint Power has launched a 2.4MW/5MWh high specific energy liquid-cooled energy storage system that is more suitable for the North American market, with a standard 20-foot cluster capable of holding 5MWh, reducing the cost per watt-hour.

Equipped with a 2.4MW inverter-booster integrated SKID consisting of 12 self-developed 200KW PCS step-up transformers, it can manage the 12 clusters of battery systems in the system one cluster at a time, preventing circulating currents between clusters of batteries during charging and discharging and further enhancing the system's cycle life.

Residential & Industrial Energy Storage System Solutions

The U.S. version of the residential energy storage system - POWER LEAF has both high load output and bypass function, even if the equipment fails, you can still have no worries about electricity. The PCS continues the usual North American split design, when the equipment fails, you can replace the mainframe alone without removing the junction box, and its NEMA 4X protection level makes the equipment more adaptable to the environment. Chint Power's 125kW/279.55kWh and 250kW/559.1kWh industrial and commercial energy storage systems are suitable for small and medium-sized industrial and commercial energy storage projects. They support plug-and-play and can be quickly expanded, with up to four devices directly connected in parallel.
