From June 23 to June 25, Intersolar Europe, the most influential solar industry event in Europe, kicked off at the Munich Exhibition Center in Germany. CHINT Power showcased its new high-power inverter and all-scenario smart PV+ESS generator at booth A1·380. The new products, concepts, and technologies attracted a continuous stream of customers and exhibitors, making the CHINT Power booth a hub of activity.

At this exhibition, CHINT Power highlighted its smart PV+ESS generator, which fully considers the multiple demands of the European market regarding electricity price fluctuations, grid connection standards, and carbon emission reduction. Its full-scenario adaptability meets the differentiated needs of various solar storage projects.
Especially for ground-mounted power station scenarios, CHINT Power uses differentiated power levels to precisely cover the needs of large, medium, and small solar storage projects. It is also suitable for both new-build solar storage projects and technical retrofits of existing PV stations.
Current mainstream solutions in the industry often configure two independent step-up devices for PV and energy storage on the medium-voltage side. This not only significantly increases project investment costs but also occupies more land resources. However, CHINT Power, leveraging its low-voltage coupling technology to empower medium and small ground-mounted PV+ESS generators, perfectly adapts to new power stations while also aiding in the retrofit and upgrade of existing PV plants, reducing costs and improving efficiency for the project.

Dual Coverage of Medium & Small PV+ESS generators for New Builds and Technical Retrofits
Unlock Greater Value from Every Power Station
CHINT Power's unique low-voltage coupling technology doesn't simply match standard products to customers. Instead, it provides the optimal product solution based on the customer's grid-tied capacity, the difficulty of on-site retrofitting, and the revenue model. It's worth noting that this technology can achieve rapid value appreciation of existing assets without increasing the burden on the grid connection.
The medium PV+ESS generator, mainly consisting of a 3.125MW/6.25MWh ESS equipped with 500Ah+ large-capacity cells and a PV inverter, and the small PV+ESS generator, whose core equipment is a 1.6MW/3.34MWh AC/DC integrated machine plus a PV inverter, achieve direct PV-to-storage charging by optimizing the energy transmission path, reducing power loss from conversion steps and improving charging efficiency. They adopt a design where PV and storage share one step-up transformer, saving equipment costs at the source and reducing construction workload and land occupation. The ESS features built-in circulating current suppression, compatible with an 800V PV inverter, effectively mitigating the risk of circulating currents during multi-unit parallel operation, ensuring long-term stable operation after technical retrofits of existing plants.

Hardcore Protection from Large Smart PV+ESS generators
Making Ground-Mounted Power Stations Run More Stably and Efficiently
At the exhibition, the large PV+ESS generator garnered much admiration thanks to the technical staff's explanations. This solution consists of the newly launched 512kW inverter and a 6.25MW/12.5MWh ESS equipped with 500Ah+ cells. The battery compartment relies on a refined control strategy of independent management for each cluster, fundamentally reducing inter-cluster circulating current and significantly improving system charge/discharge efficiency. The converter step-up integrated machine adopts a two-stage architecture design, offering stronger high voltage ride-through capability, ensuring it's not easily disconnected during grid fluctuations, providing a solid guarantee for safe and stable system operation.
As the core engine of the large-scale solution, the new generation 512kW PV inverter was officially launched at the exhibition. This inverter operates at full power without derating at 45°C, and its ultra-wide MPPT full-load voltage range enables efficient power generation across all light conditions, optimizing performance during low-light periods like dawn and dusk, making the power station's generation curve smoother and more balanced, and improving market-based electricity price revenue. At the same time, it breaks through the dual-kilovolt platform for AC and DC, adapting to a 5.5MW+ large sub-array layout, significantly reducing BOS costs and empowering long-term revenue growth for the station.
In terms of grid adaptation, the 512kW inverter possesses adaptive grid-forming voltage stabilization capability. It can operate stably under ultra-weak grid conditions like SCR1.0, effectively suppress wide-band oscillations in the grid, and provide voltage support, inertia response, and frequency regulation capabilities. Its stronger grid adaptability provides solid technical support for the safe grid connection and long-term stable operation of large power stations.

Precise Adaptation for C&I PV+ESS generators
Making Energy Costs for Commercial and Industrial Enterprises Lower and More Optimal
Alongside the exhibition, CHINT Power also showcased C&I PV+ESS generators, including the 125kW/261kWh outdoor energy storage cabinet, distributed inverters, and Power Limit boxes. Through precise Power Limit and optimization of peak-valley strategies, it helps users increase their self-consumption ratio and reduce electricity costs, achieving a leap from "passive power consumption" to "active energy management."
Furthermore, CHINT Power also demonstrated its new generation C&I outdoor storage cabinet, the 244kW/488kWh model. This outdoor cabinet is equipped with 500+Ah large-capacity cells and, through a cycle life of 10000+ cycles, significantly reduces the levelized cost of energy (LCOE). Not only does it flexibly adapt to 2-hour and 4-hour charge/discharge schemes, meeting differentiated energy needs and accelerating the ROI cycle, but its extensive product certifications ensure an efficient and smooth grid connection process, speeding up the entire timeline from deployment to revenue. It is set to become CHINT Power's next-generation star product.

Flexible Adaptation for Residential PV+ESS generators
Making Home Electricity More Convenient and Secure
At this Munich exhibition, CHINT Power also showcased its residential PV+ESS generator, whose core products are the Hybrid inverter and residential storage battery.
The battery uses a modular stackable design for wire-free and convenient installation. The Hybrid inverter comes standard with the AFCI function and 5 basic working modes, featuring high revenue, high performance, and high reliability. It can adapt to various harsh installation environments, ensuring home electricity safety.
The complete solution can provide users with safe, stable, and reliable power, supporting seamless on-grid/off-grid switching to ensure critical loads are never without power. The maximum backup power when grid-tied is 12kW (single phase) /40kW (three phase), supporting whole-home backup power and saving the cost of separating loads, truly achieving peace of mind during outages. It features smarter time-of-use control modes and intelligent load control functions to further enhance revenue, capable of meeting diverse customer needs across different scenarios.

In addition to professional explanations and system-level PV+ESS generators, the CHINT Power booth also featured exciting presentations in both English and German, comprehensively showcasing their technological achievements, drawing wave after wave of visitors.
