On local time from June 19 to 21, the Intersolar Europe 2024 took place at the ICM München in Germany. Chint Power showcased its new generation of household energy storage system POWER LEAF S1, 5-25kW, 25-40kW, 125kW PV inverters, and 350kW string inverters for ground-mounted power stations, along with the 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system POWER BLOCK2.0, all of which stood out at booth A1.260.

Focusing on the current solar energy storage market in Europe, Chint Power has launched the 350kW string inverter and 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system, Power Block 2.0. Additionally, it has introduced a low-voltage coupling solar energy storage system solution, effectively combining cutting-edge PV inverter technology with a large-scale liquid-cooled storage system. This innovation breaks through the constraints of traditional solar energy storage systems, offering a more efficient and secure energy storage solution.

350kW String Inverters-The temperature of rated output power is up to 45°C 

This inverter builds upon Chint Power's high efficiency, high reliability, and high performance features from its large-power inverters. It integrates 15-channel MPPTs, achieving up to 99% efficiency, and operates at full power without derating even at 45 °C. This capability effectively enhances power generation efficiency, making it well-suited for large-scale ground-mounted power stations.

POWER BLOCK 2.0, a 5MWh Liquid-cooled Energy Storage System

The 2.4 MW/5 MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system, showcasing high specific energy, performance and safety, was exhibited alongside the 350 kW inverter. This solution consists of 2.4 MW PCS integrated booster chamber and 5 MWh liquid-cooled battery chamber, both integrated using a standard 20-foot container scheme. The system has a 5 MWh capacity within a standard 20-foot space, reducing the cost per unit Wh. Additionally, it features a 2.4 MW integrated booster chamber comprising 12 self-developed 200 kW PCSs and boosting transformers. The system can efficiently manage 12 clusters of batteries, ensuring optimal power release from each cluster and addressing SOC inconsistency issues resulting from parallel connections in a centralized scheme.

Chint Power also offers a comprehensive low-voltage coupling ground power station photovoltaic-energy storage system solution, featuring 350 kW inverters, liquid-cooled energy storage systems and box-type substations, tailored to meet customer needs for integrated photovoltaic-energy storage solutions.

POWER LEAF BESS S1, the Next-Generation Household Energy Storage System

At the exhibition, Chint Power unveiled its newest single-phase and three-phase household energy storage solutions, aimed at fulfilling the diverse requirements of consumers. The key components of this solution include the Hybrid inverter and the household energy storage battery. The battery features a modular stacked design for easy wire-free installation. The Hybrid inverter has the AFCI functions and five basic operating modes, offering high benefits, excellent performance, and high reliability. The inverter adapts to various harsh installation environments and can ensure household electricity safety.

The complete POWER LEAF S1 solution provides users with safe, stable, and reliable power, supporting seamless on-grid/off-grid switching to ensure an uninterrupted power supply for critical loads. For grid connection, the backup power can be up to 12 kW (single-phase)/40 kW (three-phase), supporting whole-house backup power, cutting the cost of separate loads and ensuring uninterrupted power supply under any condition. It also features an enhanced intelligent time-sharing control mode and smart load control functions for higher benefits, meeting clients' diverse needs in various scenarios.

POWER LEAF PV S1, New Generation Residential PV Series Inverters

At the exhibition, Chint Power's new generation of household PV series inverters, ranging from 5 to 25 kW and 25 to 40 kW, also attracted much attention. This series of inverters comes standard with AFCI anti-arcing functionality on the DC side and has passed IEC 63027 certification.

For application scenarios, this device features a 30A one-channel MPPT, accommodating all kinds of PV modules. It provides a complete set of solutions for preventing reverse flow, both for individual and multiple units, making it versatile enough for various household, small-scale commercial, and industrial settings. Regarding reliability, it is equipped with IP66 and C5 high protection levels and standard Type II SPDs on both DC and AC sides, ensuring an overall performance boost and exceptional performance.

Chint Power's newest generation of 100/125 kW string inverters incorporates 12-channel MPPTs, each capable of handling up to 30A.
