On August 27-29, local time, Intersolar SA was held at the Expo Center Norte in Sao Paulo, Brazil. CHINT POWER presented its residential energy storage system, residential, C&I and Utility PV solutions and 5MWh liquid- cooling energy storage system at Booth G5.14.

Utility PV

The 250kW inverter, equipped with wide operating voltage, wide temperature range, IP66 high dust and waterproof rating and C5 anti-corrosion function, was displayed at the exhibition, which can be adapted to a variety of application scenarios. In addition, Chint Power Systems newly launched SCH333~350K-T-EU series was also on display. This series of inverters integrates up to 15-channel MPPT, with a maximum efficiency of up to 99%. The excellent temperature design ensures that the inverters can still operate at full power at 45℃, effectively improving the system's power generation efficiency. It supports night-time reactive power compensation and all-round grid monitoring, is designed with PID prevention and repair functions, and is equipped with intelligent DC controllable switches, which can realize millisecond automatic disconnection when encountering faults, combining high efficiency, intelligence and safety in one.

C&I PV

Chint Power's commercial PV inverters are known for their high reliability, adaptability, efficiency and stability. Among them, Chint Power 75-125kW string inverters are popular in Brazil. While conventional products with the same power in the market generally adopt 10-input  MPPT design, this series of products from Chint Power has 12-input MPPT, which has a higher DC-AC ratio and a larger power generation capacity;

It can still operate at full power without derating at 45°C. Meanwhile, the AFCI function is complete; it is equipped with an zero export program, including a meter and CT; it is flexibly applicable to industrial and commercial occasions with high requirements for grid continuity, and it is equipped with a real-time monitoring function, which makes remote operation and maintenance more convenient. Chint Power's 75kW inverter has also passed the INMETRO POPTARIA n 140:2022 certification, which can be better adapted to Brazil's grid connection requirements.

Residential PV

The 3-10kW single-phase & 10-40kW three-phase inverters displayed at the exhibition are Chint Power's newly upgraded residential inverter series. The upgraded residential inverters not only have more voltage options and higher transmission efficiency, but also are better suited for both residential and commercial applications. The upgraded inverters are also equipped with AFCI function, which can recognize and cut off arc when it is generated to ensure the safety of distributed PV system and avoid the fire caused by high temperature of arc. Meanwhile, the series products have passed INMETRO POPTARIA n 140&515:2022 certification.

Utility Energy Storage 

At the exhibition, Chint Power's 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system also attracted the attention of many exhibitors. The standard 20-foot container can hold 5MWh, which not only reduces the cost per watt-hour, but also matches the 2.4MW inverter-transformer integrated SKID consisting of 12 Chint R&D 200kW PCS step-up transformers, which can manage 12 clusters of batteries in the system one by one, ensuring that each cluster is fully charged or discharged, and solving the problem of inconsistent SOC caused by multiple clusters of batteries being connected in parallel. Adopting intelligent liquid-cooling temperature control technology and multi-stage variable-diameter liquid-cooling piping design, it can realize the temperature difference between Pack-level cells<1.5℃, and the temperature difference between system-level cells <2℃. In addition, the whole system adopts an all-round, full-domain safety design to ensure the safety and stability of the system in multiple dimensions, including electrical, structural, operational, personal, and fire protection.

Residential Energy Storage

At the exhibition, Chint Power also displayed a new generation of single-phase and three-phase residential energy storage solutions to meet the diversified needs of users. The core products of this solution are Hybrid inverters and residential energy storage batteries. The battery adopts a modular stacked design, which makes wiring-free installation more convenient; the Hybrid inverter is equipped with AFCI function and five basic operating modes as standard, featuring high yield, high performance and high reliability, which can adapt to various harsh installation environments and guarantee the safety of home electricity consumption.

The residential energy storage solution can provide users with safe, stable and reliable power, and support seamless switching between grid-connected and off-grid to ensure that critical loads do not lose power. The maximum power reserve can be up to 12kW (single-phase)/40kW (three-phase) when grid-connected, which supports whole home backup, saving the cost of separating loads, and really makes power outage worry-free; With smarter time-sharing control mode and intelligent load control function, it further enhances the revenue, and can meet customers' multi-faceted needs for different scenarios.
