On February 25-27, Intersolar North America was held in California. Chint Power presented the full-scenario PV and energy storage solutions at Booth NO.2117, and the booth's popularity once again demonstrated Its strong influence and customer recognition in the North American market.
Since 2012, Chint Power Systems has demonstrated strong market competitiveness in the development of the North American market and has had an ultra-high share in North America for many consecutive years.The 250kW-600V PV inverters and 125kW/261kWh energy storage products on display attracted the attention of many visitors.
Small-Scale Ground-Mounted & C&I PV Solutions
Chint Power Systems exhibited 480Vac series 25/36/50/60kW inverters for commercial and industrial rooftop and carport scenarios, as well as 600Vac systems 100-125kW inverters for community PV and small-scale ground-mounted power plants. Meanwhile, we also exhibited a 600V 250kW inverter to cater to customers' demand for higher power. The inverter is designed with two types of junction boxes, which can be used in both distributed and centralized systems, providing customers with more choices and adopting a pipe-through design that is more suitable for the North American environment.
Residential & C&I Energy Storage System Solutions
Chint Power Systems' 125kW/261kWh C&I energy storage received a lot of attention from the audience. Chint Power Systems' 125kW/261kWh C&I energy storage systems are designed to meet the needs of the North American C&I market, integrating high efficiency, flexibility, and safety to meet the demands of a wide range of C&I scenarios.
All-in-one design: Adopting the All-in-one design, the system is highly integrated, with high energy density, and the footprint is reduced by 38.8% compared with the split program under the same capacity, saving space and cost for customers.
Highly reliable safety design: multi-stage fire protection measures and explosion-proof structure and the top explosion relief design, to avoid the extreme situation of explosion relief on the personnel injury, higher safety.
Pre-installation and commissioning: Pre-installation and commissioning are completed in the factory, which reduces the on-site workload and maintenance costs.
Modularized Expansion: Supports parallel use of multiple machines and flexible expansion of capacity according to demand to meet the diverse needs of projects of different sizes.
Chint Power Systems' residential inverter and storage system solutions, consisting of 7.6-12kW Hybrid inverters and 5-20kWh batteries, were also on display. The Hybrid inverter continues the split design used in North America, which ensures reliability while being able to be disassembled and replaced individually, significantly saving installation operation and maintenance time; the single unit supports a 200A high-current bypass function, which adapts to the specifications of most North American household wiring boards, realizing whole-house power backup.
Utility PV & Energy Storage Solutions
Chint Power Systems also showed the U.S. version of 350kW, 250/275kW inverters, and 2.4MW/5MWh liquid cooling energy storage systems. Among them, the 350kW integrated multi-way MPPT is perfectly adapted to various current specifications of components, with a maximum efficiency of 99%. The excellent temperature design ensures that the inverter can still run stably at full power at 45℃, effectively increasing the power generation of the system and guaranteeing its long-term safety and stability.
The 2.4MW/5MWh liquid cooling energy storage is equipped with a standard 20-foot cluster capable of holding 5MWh, which reduces the cost per watt-hour. The 2.4MW inverter-booster SKID, which consists of 12 self-developed 200KW PCS step-up transformers, provides better management of the 12 clusters of batteries in the system, prevents circulating currents between clusters of batteries during charging and discharging, and further enhances the system's cycle life.
