125kW/261kWh Outdoor ESS Cabinet Draws the Spotlight
Also attracting significant interest was Chint Power's 125kW/261kWh outdoor all-in-one ESS cabinet. With detailed on-site explanations, the product’s full capabilities were revealed to attendees.
This all-in-one system features a highly integrated design with a single-unit capacity 261kWh, tailored for office buildings, factories, commercial areas, and other C&I scenarios. It supports multi-unit parallel operation, allowing flexible expansion according to customer needs. Equipped with cell-level aerogel insulation and system-level thermal runaway protection, it offers a safe and reliable choice for energy storage.
Certified for Global Markets: Outdoor ESS Cabinets Ready for Export
On May 7, Intertek officially awarded ETL, CB, and CE certifications to Chint Power's CPS ESS-125kW/261kWh liquid-cooled outdoor ESS cabinet at the booth. This not only demonstrates Chint Power's technological capabilities in energy storage but also signifies that the product is fully qualified for entry into the North American and European markets.
The product underwent comprehensive technical evaluation and stringent testing by Intertek across intrinsic safety, electrical safety, environmental adaptability, and component lifecycle. It supports various C&I applications such as self-consumption, demand management, VPP scheduling, peak shaving, and time-of-use optimization. It also supports seamless grid/off-grid switching and diesel generator integration, offering customers both economic and safety advantages.
Low-Voltage Coupled PV+ESS System: Flexibility for a Diversified Market
Ground-mounted PV plant solutions remain a major attraction. At the show, Chint Power showcased an efficient PV+ESS system that combines string inverters with liquid-cooling ESS—drawing strong interest from attendees.
The 333-350kW string inverters feature 15 MPPTs, with a peak efficiency of 99%, and maintain full power output even in 45°C environments, significantly enhancing overall system generation.
The 5MWh liquid-cooling ESS solution combines high energy density, high performance, and high safety. A standard 20-ft container accommodates 5MWh, reducing the cost per watt-hour. The 2.4MW inverter-boost integrated skid, composed of twelve self-developed 200kW PCS units, enables independent management of 12 battery clusters, ensuring full charge/discharge and resolving SOC imbalance issues caused by parallel configurations.
Residential Energy Storage: Smart Protection for Household Power
At Intersolar, Chint Power also displayed its self-developed residential energy storage system, comprising hybrid inverters and stackable battery modules.
The battery adopts a modular, wire-free stack design for convenient installation. The hybrid inverter comes standard with AFCI protection and five basic operating modes, offering high yields, high performance, and high reliability. It is well-suited for challenging installation environments and ensures household electricity safety.
The complete solution delivers stable and reliable power, with seamless grid/off-grid switching to ensure uninterrupted power for critical loads. During grid connection, backup power reaches up to 12kW (single-phase) / 40kW (three-phase), enabling whole-house backup without the need for load separation, and delivering peace of mind during outages. Intelligent time-based control and smart load management further boost system benefits, meeting a wide range of residential energy needs.
