From September 9–11 local time, the RE+ was grandly held in Las Vegas, USA. Chint Power showcased its full range of solar and storage solutions at Booth V8470, drawing huge crowds and highlighting the company’s strong influence and customer recognition in the North American market. This RE+ event provided a key platform for stakeholders to explore solutions together and build long-term, competitive partnerships. 

C&I and Community PV System Solutions

On display were the 208/480Vac series 25/36/50/60kW inverters for C&I rooftops and carports, as well as 480V 100/200kW inverters for community solar projects.

Of particular note was the newly launched U.S. version of the 1000Vdc-100kW-480Vac inverter. It adopts a split design for easy maintenance and is equipped with a controllable DC switch for enhanced system safety. With integrated AFCI, RSD rapid shutdown, and IV scanning functions, it significantly boosts safety and O&M efficiency. Supporting 2.0 DC overloading and PID night recovery, the product effectively increases energy yield and return on investment. 

Utility Solar Solutions

Based on customer needs in the U.S. market, Chint Power introduced a distributed utility solution centered on the 350kW 800V inverter and a virtual central utility solution centered on the 250kW 600V inverter. These solutions can be equipped with different inverter power ratings to address diverse applications, delivering reliable, efficient, and locally compliant options.

The Chint Power 350kW inverter features multi-MPPT integration, perfectly matching modules of various current ratings, with a peak efficiency of 99%. Its outstanding thermal design ensures full-power stable operation at 45°C, effectively boosting energy generation and ensuring long-term reliability.

The Chint Power 250kW 600V inverter also adopts a split design and can be paired with two types of junction boxes for distributed and centralized applications. Its smart controllable DC switch achieves millisecond-level automatic disconnection in case of faults, providing strong system safety. The distributed version also integrates AFCI and IV scanning functions, further improving safety and O&M efficiency.

C&I and Residential Energy Storage Solutions

The 125kW/261kWh C&I energy storage cabinet continued to draw strong attention at the exhibition. Combining efficiency, flexibility, and safety, it addresses a wide range of commercial applications:

•All-in-One Design: Highly integrated system with high energy density; reduces footprint by 38.8% compared with split solutions, saving space and costs.

•High Reliability & Safety: Multi-level fire protection, explosion-proof structure, and top venting design minimize risks in extreme cases.

•Pre-installed & Pre-commissioned: Factory pre-installation and testing reduce on-site workload and lower O&M costs.

•Modular Scalability: Supports multi-cabinet parallel connection for flexible capacity expansion.

For residential applications, Chint Power displayed a solution combining a 7.6–12kW hybrid inverter with a 5–20kWh battery. The hybrid inverter, designed in line with North American preferences, features a split structure that allows independent installation and replacement of the main unit and wiring box, greatly saving installation and O&M time. Supporting 200A bypass current, it is compatible with mainstream U.S. household panels to enable whole-home backup power.

Dual-stage grid-forming Energy Storage Solution

Chint Power also launched and showcased its innovative dual-stage grid-forming energy storage solution. At its core is the self-developed 200kW string PCS, featuring:

•Dual-Stage Architecture: Enhances DC voltage adaptability and supports 1.3× high-voltage ride-through for stable grid operation.

•Grid-Forming Capability: Provides voltage, inertia, and frequency support, enabling resilience under varying short-circuit ratios and enhancing grid disturbance resistance.

•Low-Voltage Coupling Design: 800Vac direct PV-ESS connection with shared transformer reduces initial investment.
